Moderately-paced flow Yoga classes

We begin with floor based movement and postures to warm and prepare the body and mind. From there, we move towards standing poses and more active asanas. We then return to the floor for more seated postures, typically including some focused pranayama, savasana and meditation. The calm pacing of the class allows for learning, absorption and fine tuning of the poses, and focused attention on the breath. Overall, students report feeling more balanced, refreshed, awake and centered post-practice. Students also appreciate understanding their anatomy with more clarity, feeling more aligned with their own senses and intuition, and feel that over time, they gain greater connection with their emotional and spiritual life as well.

PILATES

The Pilates method, originally created by Joseph Pilates, is a complete technique designed to create dynamic strength, core integration, efficient patterning and improved health. Utilizing specially designed equipment as well as mat work, the method challenges all systems in the body, both in relating to the various pieces of equipment and in your body on the mat. The beauty of the method is that it is accessible to ALL bodies—whether you’re rehabbing from an injury or illness, or looking to cross-train for intense athletics, Pilates offers endless training options for all.

Private Sessions

In a private session, I'm able to fully tailor the practice to your desired goals both for the day and for the long-term. Oftentimes, students decide to study privately if they want or need more personal attention due to injury, want to delve into certain aspects more deeply than a group class can offer, would like to have a session on their own time and schedule, would like to work in a space of their choosing, or more.

Having worked privately with students for nearly 30 years, I have honed my skills to bring out the best in you.
